Dutch windmills squad for international break!

Donnie van de beek has returned to the Dutch squad after recovering from an injury, in preparation for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Northern Ireland and Belarus, marking a week in which he scored with Ajax Amsterdam during a Champions League win in Spain.

Van De Beck missed last month’s Group C win over Germany and Estonia because of a muscle cramp but returned on Friday to Ronald Koeman’s 23-man squad.

Van de Beek played a key role with Ajax in their 3-0 win away to Valencia on Wednesday to lead their group in the Champions League.

Coman recalled goalkeeper Marco Bizot from Alkmaar after keeping a clean sheet against Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday to replace the injured Jeron Zott.

The Netherlands play Northern Ireland next Thursday in Rotterdam and visit Belarus in Minsk three days later.

The Netherlands are third in the group, three points behind Germany and Northern Ireland, but have played less.
